Chess, one of the oldest games in the world, still enjoys immense popularity today worldwide with over 600 million active players today. Chess has been commonly associated with high intelligence, and it's not hard to see why. Those familiar with the game understand the immense depth of strategies that one must become proficient in to truly be a master of the game. Even today, the best from many countries around the world compete in international tournaments where everything, including the reputation of their home countries, can be on the line.
