I am always accepting new commissions and the organization of new consortiums! To help expedite the process of setting up a commission or consortium with me, please prepare the following:
If you don't know some of this information or you want me to make some of these choices, that's OK! Once when you have as much of this requested information as you can give, please CONTACT ME to start the process.
All commissions require a contract between the commissioning party (you) and the composer (me). Most commissions typically work on a two time payment policy. I typically ask for 50% of the commission fee at the start of the composition process, and I am not able to begin composing the work until I receive this first payment. If for some reason, I have to cancel work on your commission before it is finished, you will be refunded your initial payment. Once the work is completed and you have received and approved the audio and score for the work, the other 50% of the payment is due. You will not receive parts for the work until this final payment is made.
A consortium can also be established for a work instead of a commission. This will usually be necessary with larger projects or projects where you want to ease financial burden by adding more musicians or ensembles to the commission. I will work with you to set up specifics for your consortium, but generally the following rules are established:
Other details with commissions and consortiums will be worked out on a case by case basis and clarified on the contract written up for the commission or consortium. If you have any further questions, again, please don't hesitate to CONTACT ME! I look forward to hearing from you! :)

- The commissioning party or initial creator of the consortium has rights to access and perform the work before anyone else does for a designated period of time.
- Other members of the consortium will be granted access and performance rights to the work based upon timelines decided by how much the members contribute to the consortium.
- To join a consortium, interested parties will have to buy in to the consortium based upon price tiers established between the commissioning party and the composer.
- Payments will work just like a regular commission with 50% due for the buy in and 50% due once the work is completed.
